Things have been calm around here but luckily Spring has come and brought along a bunch of new music. Here are some of the novelties that have been or are going to be released in the next weeks.

A Primavera trouxe consigo muita música nova, e ainda bem, já fazia falta. Estes são alguns dos álbuns que saíram recentemente ou que vão ser lançados em breve. Há Neon Trees, David Fonseca, Madonna, The All-American Rejects, Michael Kiwanuka e The Ting Tings.

Cartazes de Verão 2012: Sudoeste, o festival-rei

As confirmações para os cartazes deste ano continuam a pingar e hoje pingaram para os lados da Zambujeira do Mar.

The Ting Tings, Nicolas Jaar e Xutos e Pontapés vão ao Sudoeste TMN 2012.

Depois dos sucessos 'That's Not My Name', 'Shut Up and Let Me Go' e  'We Walk', os The Ting Things estão de volta com um álbum muito recente (Sounds from Nowheresville), do qual ainda só ouvi este 'Soul Killing'. Falta-lhe o power a que o duo nos acostumou.

Nicolas Jaar é um rapaz com sangue latino e ouvido para os remixes. A sua música é um slow techno, de beats arrastados.

Os Xutos dispensam apresentações. São veteranos do rock e do Sudoeste, e vão buscar energias sabe-se lá onde.

New additions to the Sudoeste TMN fest: The Ting Tings, Nicolas Jaar and Xutos e Pontapés.

After the hits 'That's Not My Name', 'Shut Up and Let Me Go' and  'We Walk', the Ting Things are back with a recent album (Sounds from Nowheresville), in which we can find this 'Soul Killing'. It's lacking the Ting Tings' power.

Nicolas Jaar is a latino with an ear for remixes. His music is kind of a slow techno, with dragged beats.

Xutos e Pontapés are the Portuguese rock veterans, and Sudoeste TMN's habitués.

Check the line-up above for the names confirmed until now. Sudoeste TMN takes place in the first week of August, at Zambujeira do Mar. Full pass costs 95€.
