'Walk' is the second single of Foo Fighters' latest album, Wasting Light. The video is - as the band usually does - so funny and entertaining.
Also, it teaches you to never piss Dave Grohl off. Well, who has never felt the urge to throw a disappointing floppy burger at the waiter's face?!
Needless to say Grohl's the legendary drummer for Nirvana. But he has grown a lot since he teammed up with Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic. Now he leads one of the best rock bands of our time and helps to keep grunge alive. He is the dedicated father that came up with the idea for "learning to walk again/ learning to talk again" as his daughter was attempting to give her first steps.
The song got two Grammy nominations, for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song, and received Best Rock Video at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
This album is all about "second chances", said Grohl. For me, 'Walk' inspires new begginings - why it would only make sense to be the first song featured in this blog.
