Santiago Alquimista, quinta-feira, 15 dias para o início do Optimus Alive. São 30 bandas e DJs a concorrer pela oportunidade de actuar naquele que tem vindo a afirmar-se como o melhor festival de Verão em Portugal.
De 250 candidaturas, há uma série de gente nova e com talento a apresentar-se na final do Optimus Live Act aos jurados - Artur Peixoto (Everything is New), Henrique Amaro (Optimus Discos), Carlão “Pac Man” (Os Dias de Raiva /Ex-Da Weasel) e Nuno Luz (Rádio Comercial).
Os Ninja Kore acabam por ser os merecidos vencedores da tarde/noite. O prémio é uma actuação no palco Optimus Clubbing, a 14 de Julho. Mas não fica por aqui. Vão ainda gravar um EP com a Optimus Discos.
Os Ninja Kore são uma coisa muito à frente. Fazem remisturas electrónicas progressivas, nas quais combinam várias influências para um resultado único com toque oriental. Tocam de máscara e têm uma presença forte.
Dos participantes, há 9 bandas e 9 DJ's que não vão para casa de mãos a abanar e ganharam a oportunidade de actuar no Pórtico de Entrada do Alive. São eles:

Optimus Live Act is a contest to select a band to perform at one of the main stages of the festival Optimus Alive. This year, the winning band was Ninja Kore, selected among 30 other band and DJs. The finalists battled last Thursday, at Santiago Alquimista.
Ninja Kore are an electronic band making progressive mixes of their influences with an Oriental vibe. They make a strong performance by wearing masks all the time.
Ninja Kore will be performing at Optimus Clubbing stage on July 14th and recording an EP with Optimus Discos.
Among the 30 finalists, the judges selected 9 bands and 9 DJs to perform at the entrance of the festival. Check Ninja Kore on the video and the list of the other winners above.
